TCG Helps Protect Patient Access to Quality Healthcare
Recently, The Clinton Group, working on behalf of the American Medical Association, motivated thousands of constituents to take action ensuring HR 6331 was passed in the Senate.
In a program that included varying House and Senate targets over the course of several months, TCG generated genuine constituent support for the bill and enabled thousands of voices to be heard via live and automated direct connect programs. Of the final 10 Senators targeted in the program, six changed their minds and voted in the AMA's favor.
The program, which aimed to stop a 10.6% cut in Medicare reimbursements to physicians, is considered to be a tremendous victory in preserving patients' access to quality healthcare.
