Erik Petzel Named Senior Associate

Erik Petzel has been promoted to Senior Associate for The Clinton Group, Inc.

(WASHINGTON, DC March 23, 2007) Erik Petzel has been promoted to Senior Associate for The Clinton Group, Inc., company Chairman and CEO Walter D. Clinton announced today.

"During the past year, Erik has proven himself as a committed, loyal member of our organization.  Erik's energy and creativity have enhanced our company, and I am excited to see his continued development.  I look forward to further success as we move into 2007 and beyond," Clinton said in a statement made earlier today.

In this capacity, Erik is involved with new business development in the areas of candidate and issue advocacy campaigns.  Prior to his work with The Clinton Group, Erik was involved with fundraising efforts and grassroots organizing for the 2004 presidential elections in his home state of Minnesota.  He credits his experience on Sen. Paul Wellstone's 2002 re-election campaign for inspiring his commitment to politics.  Erik is a graduate of Connecticut College where he received B.A. degrees in both History and Government.  He lives in Washington, DC with his wife Jenny.
