Grassroots campaign to support the KSDCCC
The Challenge
One of the most significant challenges for the KSDCCC was to build a strategy that would protect the 13 incumbents and prepare for 2006 and beyond. As such, The Clinton Group (TCG) was asked to work with the KSDCCC to determine how we could prepare and provide support, in advance, to allow immediate response to anticipated negative attacks during the last 2 weeks of the elections.
In addition, TCG also provided live Voter ID calls and live and automated GOTV calls to voters in Congressional Districts and State House and Senate Districts to enhance voter turnout.
KSDCCC was anticipating negative campaigning against their Incumbents in 13 State Senate and House districts in the 2004 General Elections. In order to help these incumbents in their bid for re-election, a plan was needed.
