About National Wildlife Federation
As it is known today, The National Wildlife Federation was formed in 1936 as America's conservation organization protecting wildlife for our children's future. NWF builds consensus-based solutions where they can, however sometimes they are forced to take their case to the courts.
They teach children, families and concerned citizens how they can help protect wildlife. They inspire millions to speak and act for wildlife through their web site, publication of award-winning magazines and through intricate grassroots campaigns. NWF represents the power and commitment of four million members and supporters joined by affiliated wildlife organizations in 47 states and territories. They channel the energy of thousands of volunteers to take action through many forms of persuasive communication techniques.
